Our Story

It all started with Ann and Bart.

AjB Ventures was founded by John Rizzo, a professional engineer and serial entrepreneur. AjB Ventures is his way to give back and stay young.

Growing up, John had two very important people in his life who still shape his daily actions. The parental team of Ann and Bart showed John what it meant to love what you do, work hard, create memories, and watch your back.

AjB is an investor in the real estate under nine convenience-and-fuel sites, originally built as Neon Marketplace. In 2025 the stores were placed under a long-term lease to EG America and now operate as Cumberland Farms.

A Marriott Renaissance in Boca Raton, Florida. AjB is invested in the recapitalized, renovated asset: a full-service hotel with Meat Market steakhouse and meeting space. The 2023 renovation is complete and the hotel is operating.
